Vailsburg Park — Attraction in Newark

Took my kids here around midday, not very crowded at all. Most of the kids had a parent who was supervising them, and everyone was respectful and nice. Two playgrounds, one for kids 2-5, the other for the older ages. A climbing structure in the middle and the ground was padded and bouncy. Clean park, with nice wide walkways that are smooth. The track is nice, as are the baseball fields, bball court and football field. My only complaint is the lack of shade at the playground area. Kids get hot quick as the sun just beams over there with no real relief.

This park has been upgraded since I wrote my last review. There’s a mommy and me swing and a really nice play ground for the kids ! You can jog, ride bikes , play sports whatever !
