Tasty Jamaican & American — Restaurant in Newark

For GOD sake today was too much I had to turn around and leave please fix that urine smell that attack your nose as soon as you step in this restaurant and it’s been like that for as long as I can remember come on man!!!! this is the food industry!!!! don’t just spray perfume and stuff, fix it permanently!!! and I see in the comment section that I am not the only one complaining about the smell of urine!!!!!! plus those same dirty black carpet on the floor just make it worst hygiene first guy make the place pleasant to eat at!!!!! and remodel a little bit with a nice clean Caribbean island vibe other than that the food is ok staff is friendly and welcoming. I went early today around 11:45AM. There wasn’t a line and the man behind the counter greeted me nicely. I have been craving oxtail for a long time so I googled where to go and this place has the most stars and good reviews so I decided to give it a try. Let me say the smell of the food was old when I received it, the food was not hot, and GREASE was seeping out from the sides of the plate. Not gravy. I tasted one oxtail it was not even warm and it was TOUGH. The rice I had to spit out, and didn’t waste my time trying the cabbage after that. I was really hungry today. My wife was too. So we decided to get some real Jamaican food. We felt led in spirit to get something at Tasty Jamaican & American restaurant. I had had enough of fried chicken so I opted for a large stewed beef...mm..mm.mmm!!😋 This you've got to try!!!
