Zero Stars if i could:
I recently took my vehicle to Cliffmotor auto shop with the hope changing the lower control arm on my car. Unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of frustration and disappointment.
When I visited the shop, I explained the problem in detail to an apprentice, whom appeared nonchalant and very non communicative. The first red flag. I inquired about the cost, that’s when he directed me to receptionist woman who was very rude in the way she communicated. I waited while she consulted with her husband (Cliff)for a price which took quite a while. After about 45 mins we agreed to work. Another red flags was the apparent cluelessness by the apprentice. Another worker came along that’s when they actually began working on the car. After about one and a half hours, I decided to check on the progress. To my bewilderment, There was very little to nothing done. I then decided to leave because my patience was becoming. After about four hours, I received a call from the shop attendant that the car was ready, however she informed me that only one side was done . Second red flag. I only paid half of what we agreed. PROBLEM 1: The next day, after receiving the car from the shop, while driving slowly my steering when became very light and GONE altogether. They left a bolt undone from the tierod causing the part to fall out. This could have ended tragically had I not gotten off the highway in time.
PROBLEM 2: after been towed to another shop, the michanic did a thorough observation on their job, very poorly done. They created another issue when they broke the CV boot rubber. Now there is grease spilling all over my rim, brakes and rotors and surrounding area. PROBLEM 3: more noises than when I went in. My car sounds like everything is loose and rattling. I had to get that entire side redone.
I brought the car back to the shop to demand a resolution. I explained to the shop attendant what happened she rudely replied, “so what do you want me to do? Call my husband.” Speaking with Cliff, he sounded remorseful. But that was short lived. He asked me to come by so he can personally take a look. I showed up, he was not there. I called, no answer. And here is where I ended up, I have to leave a distasteful review for a disgraced business place. TO THIS DAY, THEY HAVE NOT TRIED TO RECTIFY THE ISSUE.
DO NOT GO TO THAT SHOP. I REPEAT, NO NOT GO TO THAY SHOP FOR ANY REASON. They are a terrible set of people, whom lack competence, who are very negligent, and has no proper business ethics. They will waste your time, and would end up costing you more in the long run. (like me) If you value your time and safety, LOOK ELSEWHERE.
Edit: I’ll show the $50 receipt so we can see who is...
Read moreThis establishment operates in an untrustworthy manner. I initially brought my car in for an inspection to address a specific problem. Following their request, I left my vehicle with them for half an hour. To my dismay, upon return, I discovered that they had disassembled the car without my consent and insisted on immediate cash payment amounting to several hundred dollars for repairs. Regrettably, the ordeal did not end there. Despite enduring a lengthy wait for their "repair," my car broke down after driving just one block. When I sought assistance or a refund, they adamantly refused to take any responsibility. To anyone seeking reliable service and respecting both their time and money, I strongly advise looking elsewhere for...
Read moreThis business is a rip off. Took my 2016 Toyota Corolla here due to Engine Immobilizer Unit needed a reprogram, Cliff wanted to charge me $1600 saying he got to check a few things and wasn’t sure what the problem was even though i told him what the issue was (cause i had the car scanned by someone else, so i already knew the issue). Took it to a more reliable and established shop which reprogrammed the Immobilizer for a fee of $400..They are a junk yard not a legit auto repair shop. The owner “cliff” the only one that may know a little something about cars but the workers don't know nothing. They aren't responsible at all. I would not recommend this place not even to an enemy. Approach this business...
