De Ponte Cellars — Attraction in Newberg

We went to DePonte winery on Saturday, 11/23/24 with our daughter Candi Casey and her husband Mike who are members, Mike's mom, my husband's sister and my husband's dad who is 93 years old. We were a fair size group. Aaron and Adam were our servers and they were awesome. We were tasting mainly red wines, but dad prefers white wines. Aaron and Adam were so good to him. Went to the recent event at the winery, it was great! Good wine, and the staff was marvelous as always. The food was good, enjoyed it. But it was-is not appropriate for wine tasting. I do not understand the current trend of wineries inviting mexican food carts to wine tasting events. The food style tends to mess up ones palete. Beer or soda go great with Mexican food.
