West Side Theatre Foundation — Attraction in Newman

Nov 1, 2025 I went to see Yacht Rockers band play @ 8:00 pm. They played lots of old soft rock songs from the 70s and 80s. They serve beer and cocktails. They had some good and snacks. There is table service available for drinks. I had a great time! I recommend going to the Newman Theatre and enjoy their events. It is run by a bunch of volunteers who donate their time and money 💰. The West Side Theatre opened a Movie Theatre in 1940. In Newman, CA. The locals volunteered to refurbishe the Theater in 1995. The volunteers put on events to raise money. The Theatre is elegant ! I went to two concerts this year. I had so much fun dancing. The people are so nice. The generic bands played, they were great. Like, Tom Petty, Grateful Dead.. Rod Stewart... This is a darling place, built in 1940 and now serving as a fun & lively community hot-spot for live musical performances as well as stage plays.
