The Donald W. Nixon Centre for Performing and Visual Arts — Attraction in Newnan

The place is beautiful, well run with ample parking. Staff and volunteers are especially helpful. On the negative the sound system really needs some attention. Last night A1A played. I and those around all were disappointed that it was almost impossible to decipher the lyrics with exception of a few songs. The beauty of Jimmy Buffet is the message in the lyrics and his clear vocal delivery. It is a shame a pre concert sound test either was not done or not well if done. Not the first concert where this has been the case. Rhinestone Cowgirls on the other hand had exceptional clarity. Will continue attending and hope some effort is focused this...

What a hidden gem!! Place is somewhat hard to find, and, until a friend a friend of mine gave me tickets to a Christmas Show there I had no idea it even existed! (Honestly cant remember the name of the group, but it was great!) This venue is close enough to Fayetteville and Peachtree City, and not too far from Atlanta, that I could see them booking Renaissance, Kansas, or some of the other artists that pull too much audience for a club, and not enough for the Phillips...

The Donald W. Nixon Center Performing arts center located on Lower Fayetteville Road in the corner of Summergrove Community in Newnan GA. Owned by the City of Newnan and conveniently located close to I-85 exit 44, exit 47 and most parts of Coweta county. Plenty of parking. Newnan Center is a smaller hall located right beside Nixon Center. Descent pricing, a lot of options available and helpful staff. A great choice for large stage...
