Newton Arboretum & Botanical Gardens — Attraction in Newton

Beautiful walkways even in the fall. In the summer the pond is lovely and flowing with coy and a bridge over a rock river. Great place to walk your dog. Alternate routes to avoid other dog walkers if needed. It loops around back to the parking lot. Great place to take photos. We really enjoy going here. We didn't make it in the summer when the flowers were out,I imagine it's beautiful then. There is an arboretum but it was closed as well as the butterfly garden. This place is a gem! A nice place to relax, walk around, take photos and let your kids run around. We saw multiple photographers and possibly a small, private wedding while we were there. We spent sometime in an indoor building on the grounds that is used for rentals. I am not sure of the prices but it is a good size for an open house, bridal/baby shower, birthday or other special event. There are bathrooms and kitchen available and seating for 60 comfortably.
