Dickinson is one of my favorite parks to visit. They have a modern jungle gym with slides and things to climb, a smaller version for younger kids and plenty of benches for parents to sit. They have a neat water pump that you can manipulate to change where the water flows. They also have large musical pipes you can play with provided mallets. There are swings and a zip line too. If the play ground isn't your thing, there's a fenced in basketball court, a volleyball court, a few baseball fields, tennis courts and horseshoe court. There's a few large fields for other activities. Over a bridge, you'll find another parking lot along with a covered sitting area and public charcoal grills. There's some more things to play on here along with walking paths that lead around the park. Also attached is a decent skatepark I've spent many long evenings at. It's a great place to spend...

I like the nice padded floor choice to protect kids when falling... The only downside is it does not allow dogs at the park... Although I can understand why if people don't clean up after their pets or if they don't train their pets to be friendly with humans.... I didn't have to use the restroom so I don't know if there's restrooms but there's plenty of picnic areas if needed... I like how parking is right next to the playground so convenient!!! I really like this park....I wonder if that have a splash pad somewhere...
Read moreGreat park up to age 12 or so. Which, for playground parks is really good. Expansive wooden play structure with lots of ramps, stairs, lookout points. Several large climbing rocks, giant saucer swing, giant rope climbing web, and a long Zipline round out this park's amenities. If that's not enough, there's a little stream with wood bridge for when they're tired of everything else. And there's no wood chips! Several picnic tables and plenty of shady grass. Basketball court and a skateboard park...
