You better check the weather before you by tickets!!! We were at the 3rd OU/ Texas game and rain was coming at us, tornado warnings were out, the game was NOT over and when the first raindrop fell, they kicked us all outta the park. A lot of people left but we sat out in the parking lot waiting to see if they'd let us back in. We found out that they would NOT give any part of a refund for our over priced tickets and when the sun came back out we headed back to the gate. They said they couldn't let us in till there were no more lightening strikes in a10 mile radius for 30-45 minutes so we waited and we waited and we waited! Finally, they let us in and the game continued. I think they were surprised that so many fans stayed (over half left but there were still a lot of us left), more Texas fans were left than OK fans and I'm guessing that's because they've (the park) done this before!! Y'all need to figure out a different game plan than "no refunds" or people will stop coming!! It's left a bad taste in my...
Read moreAs a Norman resident who lives 50 feet away from this field for 3 years, I should say this is a pretty nice place for mainly baseball games. Usually before any games, they like to play "very loud music" hours ahead of the game or on practicing days. It was noisy on the game days. The other concern of this field is, I don't know why, they always keep all the lights of the field on all night, after every night game. After every game night, the whole field is ridiculously bright without any differences compare to the daylight transparency. I think that way causes a lot of electricity usage and money expense, because all the lights will be on through the whole night. And I don't understand why they do this after every night games. I hope my concern can be noticed...
Read moreWith every consecutive review I write, I feel my mind crumble just a bit more. Soon it will reach levels of dilapidation on par with something that is dilapidated, like my mind. The very fibers of my existence feels stretched and pulled by my own descent into irreconcilable madness, which I feel I can only freely contemplate in reviews such as the very one you reading. It’s 2:31 in the morning, and here I am recording this stream of consciousness for you, treasures reader. I wish only for somebody to emerge from the long shadows of the night to lambast me for this unjustifiable destruction of my limited life here on Earth. Like all, I will eventually leave this interruption behind to continue a peaceful...
