I strongly advise you not to take your children with you on this trail. The trail is not in the best condition. Lots of dogs off leashes! - and the saddest thing is that non-aggressive dogs were on a leash and aggressive dogs without leashes and rushed at passers-by and especially dogs rushed at children, it was clear that adult parents were afraid to protect their children from dogs, since many of the dog owners were also aggressive and had weapons pistols. The fine for lack of dog leashes is only $125 - which is very small, if it was $1000 or $1250 and the rangers finally began to control the trail, then such problems did not exist. Read moreDenny Creek Cascades is a beautiful and rewarding hike with good accessibility. The parking situation is excellent, with plenty of newly built spaces near the trailhead. The trail itself is moderate, with a reasonable elevation gain that’s manageable for most hikers.
The main waterfall is stunning, and if you continue a bit farther, you’ll reach a second, smaller fall that is worth the extra steps. In early June, the trail wasn’t too crowded, making for a peaceful experience. Highly recommended for a short but...
