A spectacular falls (after a rain) that is not hard to get to (see below). First the falls. At almost 40 feet plunging into an abandoned quarry this is one of the tallest falls in New Jersey and feels like your in a magical landscape. The flow is highly variable and with no recent rain it can appear like more of a dripping faucet. The rock is undercut so you can actually stand behind the falls.
Now how to get to the falls. This isn’t difficult. First park in the mini mart at the bottom of the hill. Second follow the sidewalk up the hill. Third when the sidewalk ends continue on the mowed grass until that too comes to an end. Fourth, turn left into the forest and follow a rough trail down to the brook.
