We ordered lunch from the Belmont Grill yesterday and it was quite an experience. I was told it would be about 30-40min for our delivery. After an hour we started to wonder what was going on. We finally received a call from the driver saying he couldn't find us. We explained exactly where we were located and he still was struggling to find us somehow. He said he saw where we were but we were at that point standing in the beginning of the driveway and he was nowhere in site. We then lost connection and he didn't pick up his phone. We called the store. They explained the driver was"young" and he had gotten lost and his phone died. Now how you can't find an entire BUILDING on Belmont Avenue is beyond me but I suppose it happens?!?!? We were told they were going to remake the order as it would be cold at this point over an hour and a half later. Finally a new driver arrived and dropped our food off and said they threw in 2 milkshakes and a brownie for our trouble. Sounds good we thought. Well, our food was ice cold. They obviously sent the original order and tried to claim it was remade. It wasn't even warm forget hot. The fact they tried to pass it off as a new order is crazy. We all are in the food service industry and we know this situation wasn't handled correctly at all. But after over 2 hrs we were DONE. We weren't going to be dealing with this order a minute more. Extremely disappointed. From the delivery driver not being able to find a gigantic building with a popular business attached, to the nonchalant way the phone calls were taken, to the fact they sent us cold food after more than 2 hrs, it was a total disaster. Never again. ...

My friend is a regular here and every single time she orders, it takes over an hour to deliver. So today, a Friday night, my friend ordered 3 simple things. While taking her order, whoever was on the phone was extremely rude and warned her it would take an hour to be delivered. After an hour and 45 minutes, my friend decided to call and ask about her orders delivery status. They said they were going to send her order out now. 20 minutes later, the delivery guy calls and says they are here. So my friend goes downstairs of her dorm building to get the food and there is no delivery guy. The desk assistant said, "Did you order food? Because a delivery guy came in and put your food on the ground and made a RACIST comment towards me because I'm hispanic." My friend then gets a call from Belmont Grill saying that her food is "outside." My friend hung up and began eating her food when she decided to call back and ask for the manager. When she called, the same girl who took her order answered asking "who are you." The worker hands the phone to the manager and he begins YELLING at my friend. She began politely explaining what happened and he interrupts her saying, "Sweetie, the world doesn't revolve around you. You're ruining my business, you're slowing us down for just one order for you." This "man" made a 19 year old cry. I'm sorry, but this is disgusting and embarrassing.
PLEASE do NOT order from this place!! Absolutely disgusting and rude workers, including...

The food is ok... but ever since the previous owner (RAY) sold it these NEW owners don't seem to care or listen to customers. The owners are not maintaining some IMPORTANT things: 1.) The booth tables are broken and despite many complaints to the staff no one ever fixes these tables. The third booth table down from the door has a slanting down broken table that is so crooked that you can't safely place liquids or drinks on it. The fourth booth table is also broken and wobbles as soon as you rest an arm on it, it tilts down and will spill your drink or soup. I have personally, kindly, brought this to the attention of the staff many times... and all they do is shrug their shoulders. I've asked the staff to tell the owners and yet they say they have but nothing is ever done. 2.) There is a large depression/ hole or dip in the pavement just a few feet from the front door that is so deep it collects water in the rain... but the owner never repairs it.
WHY doesn't the owner care about fixing these tables or the customer entrance way...
