Highly disappointed! I came out to the park at about 7:30/7:45 am on a Thursday prior to heading to work. I asked the woman in the office located on the east side of the park, “Was it okay for me to come out to the park on days that no-one was using the pavilion, to practice a craft”. Her response was, “Yes” so I showed up Saturday without issue. I also showed up on Sunday only to be addressed by the same woman only to be asked, “was someone’s else joining me” I reminded her of my visit to ASK her if it would be an issue before coming out. She remembered the conversation and proceeded to say she needed to have the pavilion that I was using , to be pressure washed, not the other 2 pavilions that were NOT occupied. She then “offered to help move me to one of the other pavilions” that would be pressure washed not too long after. I declined peacefully and left.
Here is my issue:
You have 3 Pavilions, 2 of which are NOT occupied and you chose me all while noticing that I was practicing with the initial assumption that others would be coming. After finding out no-one was it still bother the woman enough to choose the one pavilion of three that was being used. I wasted product and that was the purpose of asking in the first place. I wanted to prevent any issues.
People are exhausting, careless and selfish with how they move. I want to say so much more but it’s not worth it. When people move a certain way, you can assure yourself that they believe their way was right and without issue. I won’t come back though. Not even to patronize the pavilion or the event spaces. I honestly don’t feel I should have even asked to use the pavilion if it was me alone without reason except to practice on my craft. The park is not solely for financial gain. It’s a PUBLIC park for the community and the employees and county should also consider that the park will be used for more than excercising, child play and walking dogs. By the way, i left about 30-45 minutes later, no pressure washing. You never know who you may need in this lifetime.Denying someone something because you didn’t want them around or for selfish...

Read moreLet me just say that this park deserves 5 star for how beautiful and well kept this park is. I also love the fact that the shelters are spacious and provides enough space between them that no events are a bother to one another. Also I would like to give a 5 star rating to the young men who helped my family and I with any of our concerns or needs. They were informative and professional. I have always had an amazing experience with this park at all of my family reunions and 4th of july events. Now today was something totally different. There is an employee by the name of Charlene ROWE who decided to spell her last name out to me being condescending. She was nothing but rude and distasteful from Hello. When the party rental company came out to deliver to us 1 80 feet obstacle course, 1 toddler Mickey mouse bounce house 6 generators, a popcorn machine, cotton candy machine, snow cone machine 80 chairs and 6 long tables with a dolly because they could not come in and u load. It was just insane. We had cases of sodas and water no dolly and had to go back and forth all the way from the parking lot to our shelter. We was told we had the park from 1pm to 6 pm and a 30 minute grace period to clean up after. 5:30 we was told to shut it down and cleanup while doing so they turned the lights out on us. I just could not believe that. She had an attitude the entire time. She has no people skills what so ever. I just can't believe they have someone working at a public place like that. We didnt give her any problems when we got there and the shelter was dirty we could have been rude and nasty about that but I will never use this park again for anything. She needs to learn how to talk to people, how to approach people and how to show a little compassion for people situation. It was just uncalled for and unacceptable and I would really like to speak with her boss in full detail about how my family was treated and the unprofessional things I seen going...
