Artist For A Day — Attraction in North Olmsted

I went there earlier today to paint and the owner Kevin was very rude. I didn’t want to put my address down so I put my email and phone number on the customer info sheet. He asked me twice for my home address (which I do not give out to any business so idk why he was offended) Kevin got upset with me and took away the items I wanted to paint and placed them back in the bins. Not only that but he crumpled up the piece of paper with my info on there, tossed it away and said I can go. I was upset and being loud because I was angry. The customers heard me and I even told the one lady sitting by the window that he turned me away and was rude. He didn’t explain to me why he needed to have my address and I found out later that it’s how they process customer info in their system. He also got offended cuz I put n/a in the address column. My husband brought me here for my 27th birthday and I have completely fallen in love! Being the creative type and 9 months pregnant at the time, this was the perfect activity. We underestimated how much time we would need to finish our pieces (was told alot of people do, so seriously give yourself at least 3 hours) and had to come back a few more times, but I enjoyed the experience so much that I really didn't mind. The staff was kind, professional and just fun to be around! The only negative things I can really say about Artist For A Day would be the prices can be a little higher than expected (might be helpful if the website would show the available pieces with prices so we could choose before we get there) and the music, the 70's greatest hits are fun but after a few hours they can get a tad annoying lol. Expensive! $30 for an 8" plate. Plus $6 to use a couple blobs of paint. Some of the Bisque ceramics have holes/flaws etc. 3 of the ones my g'daughter wanted had flaws. Seams of 2 lg teddy bears were never cleaned before they were fired to bisque. Hardly any examples of ways to paint the items, designs, etc. No books w/photos of finished items. The girl on 2.14.25 was not very helpful. She said to look at 6 QR codes for techniques. No displays for Easter or Mothers Day. But lots for xmas, thanksgiving. Will...
