Yesterday I happened to be in the area taking care of business and decided to place a drive thru order for me and my family. I placed my order around 6:54pm not knowing they close at 8 (more on this later). At the drivethru I noticed there were cars waiting as the store was busy and those customers had to wait for an employee to bring their order out. I was then told I would be joining that group. After waiting an abnormal amount of time, I decided to go inside as I also wanted to make sure my order was correct and to get my desired sauces. Once inside, I noticed no employees were coming out with orders for those before me which was also odd. Mind you I was in there for about 15/20min. So I saw the young man who took my order and acknowledged him so he could know Iām still waiting. Meanwhile, there was another young man who prepared himself to leave for the day as his shift was over. So now Iām preparing to speak to the elder white woman employee whoās at the register. I explain who I was and what order I was waiting for. There is only one way in/out for the employees to enter/exit so I would be able to catch my order. Someone eating inside came up with half her food gone the other half on her tray. She was complaining about how she is still waiting on the rest of her order. So I thought wow, this is not good. She then asked for a box to put her food in as she no longer wanted to stay as her food got cold. Another guy came in and placed his order and complained the prices went up as he wasnāt prepared to pay $40 for the 4 items he got. I too thought my bill was too high but trying to be understanding of the recent tariffs. I finally get my food and immediately exit as Iām ready to go home. I get home to realize I am missing 3 items: coleslaw, chicken & biscuit with the Mikeās hot honey sauce. I really didnāt feel like driving back up there as itās now 7:55pm. I call and it rings and rings . The elder white lady answers and I explain to her the situation. She never showed any empathy yet instead said āthere are kids working here who mess up from time to time, just come up here with your receipt and you have until 8pm.ā I said excuse me and told her I understand however, may I please have my regular size coleslaw upgraded to a large for my inconvenience as I donāt live close. That one question set her on fire! She said āit never ceases to amaze me that people feel entitled to ask for upgrades over a simple mistake.ā I was floored as I didnāt expect that brass response. I said āso youāre upset with me because the employees working who made my order failed to do quality control checks on my order before sending it out?ā Wow! She started explaining herself and I didnāt want to hear and told her Iāll be up there to speak to her. I then realized Iām not about to rush when there is always tomorrow especially when time is of the essence. So I called back and explained that I will instead come tomorrow. She said they opened at 11am. She asked when will I be there I said didnāt tell her a time as I donāt want my food spat in and I donāt want no old food. I asked who do I need to speak to and how will this be handled so I wonāt run into any problems trying to get these items that Iāve already paid for. She said Iāll take your name down and the items your missing. I said ok and that was that. I came back up today and she wasnāt there lol. The young men and there was a black/latino manager up front. I explained to him the situation. He immediately made my order and didnāt put me through the treatment she did. I even got a free small drink to go. She could take a how from his book. I left a message for corporate also as sensitivity training for customer service needs to be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have never in all my years of working in fast food had to witness such rudeness from a manager to his female employees while the other male employee was walking outside to smoke when he wanted to without a word being said. There were no offer of compensation for having to wait an hour over the order time. I felt so bad for the females working there having to take the disrespect from their so called boss. He needs to be fired in my professional opinion. The online app had issues but that is no excuse for a manager to yell at and disrespect his female employees multiple times and in front of customers let alone at all. Even the employees looked at me like I'm sorry but this is how he is. One was afraid to ask about my order in fear of being yelled at again. The verbal abuse I witnessed in that store was the worst I've ever witnessed. Plus he closed the lobby an hour early and was yelling at the older female worker because people left and the door wasn't relocked. Once we got our food I thanked the older female employee for being so kind and courteous while having to work with someone like him. He rudely told her in a smart tone 'you could offer her a chocolate cake but it's hot.' I told him to keep his cake I wouldn't be back. Blessings to the 2 ladies for taking his disrespect with a smile and remained professional. I watched for an hour and half the ladies busting their behinds and their job performance was very impressive and...
Ā Ā Ā Read more(Update)- My son forced us to eat here again. They didnāt have any chicken. I tried to contact corporate- no response. I was refunded. A few weeks later he asked again- no chicken again!
(Original review) I have to be honest- it kind of feels like this KFC wants to close but isnāt willing to āpull the plug.ā My wife was gone for the weekend so my boys and I decided to get some chicken.
When I arrived at the restaurant I found out that the lobby closes at 6. The run-down drive thru is open until 9 (or so). I ordered through the app.
I called to check on my food and they said they didnāt have crispy chicken legs. They person I spoke with was nice and threw in extra wings to accommodate. However, I asked if they were making more and he said no because they were thinking about closing.
This was 7:30 and they close at 9:00. This means they were planning on not having any crispy chicken legs for their final hour and half of work.
We received our food fine. I decided to eat a few fries on the way home. Unfortunately they were old and cold. Iām not sure when they were made but it had to have been longer than an hour. None of us could eat them.
The chicken was good. The bone-in chicken was good. The tenders were ok, but not as good as the nuggets.
All-in-all, not great. I had purchased a chicken sandwich from here a while ago that also wasnāt great. Itās been a while so I decided to give it a try again. It wasnāt a...
