Goddess Elite — Attraction in North Olmsted

It was nice out today so I took a walk to Goddess Elite and I had my water bottle with me. As I approached the shop I noticed a sign on the door that read “no drinks or food allowed” which I assume is for spilling or ruining things. So as I open the door I asked the dark-haired, white woman who was older if I could please leave my water bottle at the counter with her, so I wouldn’t risk spilling it. She then changed her physical demeanor and looked at me like I was an ignorant child (mind you I’m a 24 years old) and told me “ummm or you can go put it in your car” and rolled her eyes at me like it was wrong of me to ask. As someone who has worked in customer service for 8 years I would never greet a customer that way or speak to them in a demeaning tone. I understand the sign had its rule, but as someone walking in the middle of a hot summer day, I would hope there would be some understanding. This is such a shame, because everything in the store is so cool and they have an amazing selection to buy from, but after that interaction I couldn’t bring myself to purchase anything.

Update: Today (8/30) I went to Goddess Elite and the worker named Eileen was spectacular! This was such a refreshing take from my last visit. Eileen was very kind and inviting to my friend and I. I had several questions about the herbs that the store carries and she was so informative and helpful. Even while seeing Eileen interact with other customers about their needs/wants, I could definitely tell she was trying her hardest to help them. Do not shop here with your well behaved children! (Apparently)

My friend, her husband and I brought our children with us while we were browsing for some items for her birthday today. My friend also works at a metaphysical shop as a tarot reader, so we are both intimately aware of the delicate nature of the items sold in these stores, and would never leave a child unattended to handle an object without proper supervision. When we first arrived, we were not greeted or offered any assistance with looking for items. We had been browsing for less than 10 minutes before being very abruptly interrupted by an employee who just wanted to imply our children shouldn’t be looking at the items because there is “small pieces” (they were empty boxes). I can understand concern when children aren’t being properly attended in a store, but this was certainly not the case. We had collected a few items we were planning to purchase, but immediately put everything back and left and won’t be returning.

I wish I could say this was an isolated experience, but the first time I shopped here back in December, I was also met with a cold, odd energy from an employee when asking for guidance with some items I was interested in.

Overall, the items in the shop are interesting, but it’s the employees that make the shopping experience just not worth the visit. There are plenty of other metaphysical stores that have a warm, welcoming and...

We came in there today my daughter, myself, and her friend. The store is amazing there is so much stuff to look at and to learn about, most importantly to buy. We spent close to $700 there between the three of us. We happen to just come because they were the only one closest to us that was open on a Sunday. It was definitely worth the trip. The owner was so sweet and so amazing. We were there after they've closed a few minutes because the girls had bought so much. We came at a time that they were psychics and mediums in the back doing readings. The psychic I had was amazing!!! Her name was Megan and she actually agreed to do the reading even though it was technically after the time the readings were supposed to stop. She was quite amazing and quite on point. She has a great Vibe and a beautiful soul!!! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because there was a short haired blonde lady there that kept giving my girls strange looks according to them and made them feel quite uncomfortable. She was helping the owner check us out and she had me feeling negative energy. Maybe she was just having a bad day you always have to give somebody the benefit of the doubt.
