Wide World of Indoor Sports — Attraction in North Smithfield

Atrocious is the best way I can describe this place. Never ever sending my kids there again. This place is so trashy I’ve seen MICE crawl onto the field in the middle of my son’s game. I used to play in the adults league here and the officiating by these refs are SUNDAY LEAGUE bad. Absolute nonsense because these refs have no idea what offsides is, they call a foul if you lightly touch someone, but won’t call a foul if someone damn near DIES on a play. Make up your damn mind! Also, tell me why there’s a fight here every week? Did not expect a sports area to have the same amount of fights Chicago has in a week. I don’t know what’s going on but something needs to be changed. Send your kids to fore kicks, not this terrible...

Kind of a low end venue. Where to begin. The turf fields use ground up tires which, health issues aside, makes the whole place smell like rubber. The lighting in every venue is woefully inadequate. It feels like you're watching a soccer game in some dystopian setting where there is not enough electricity available. No thought was given to spectator viewing so you are either right on top of the field literally inches from the game on one field or you are stuck watching it from one end of the field through thick lanes of glass on another field. The outdoor field has a single restroom and it's an outdoor portable toilet. It must be super cheap to book this venue and that is my guess is to why...
