We just had our family room re carpeted and are extremely pleased with the finished room. Our salesman Mike recommended a waterproof backed carpet called Anso Living that will prevent liquids (read pet pee) to leak thru to the pad and floor...sold. I tore the old stuff up because of the smell and am happy to not have to do that again. The installers were awesome and very patient. They had a heck of a time getting the tack strip to nail down to the concrete, it was all pocked up from previous carpet installs... but he was patient and wanted to do it right...and he did. Looks great. He even did the "Hollywood" step wrap but didn't charge us extra. He felt we would like it more and it would hold up much better over the extended tread.....and we love it. I am so happy we went with Village. We looked at the big box stores and all of them had 4 weeks or so to get it unless I wanted the very cheap in stock product. There’s a saying in business, “Quality, Price, Service, pick two.” The idea is, of course, that you can’t have all three. My wife and I must say, however, that in the two times we’ve dealt with Village Carpets in the past six years, they’ve been superior in every category. Mike was extremely helpful in assisting with product selection. His cost estimate was much lower than we’d expected, and he coordinated carpet and kitchen flooring installation superbly. There was no pressure to make a sale, and the company was very liberal in letting us borrow samples to take home. If this review sounds extravagant, it’s because rarely have we dealt with a company that provides high quality, good prices, and great service like...
