Grocery Outlet — Attraction in Norwalk

This has been my go to store for the last few years, notice the store is lately very empty and I was bummed it may be going out. I buy at least 600 dollars a month at this store and this last Friday I bought 2 3lb hamburger meats and today I was freezing them and noticed one looked odd, expired 9 days prior to my purchase. I called the store and it now makes sense why the store looks so bad lately, the awesome old manager left and the new one I talked to was zero help, I explained I have the package the meat, however all I have is the purchase statement on my atm billing. I was told I could not return the rotten meat they sold me because I don’t have the actual receipt. The old manager here was so amazing, sucks that now I have to find another grocery outlet to shop. I would highly recommend nobody going to this failing store. The shelf’s are practically empty anyways these days, hopefully someone who cares about HER customers takes over soon to save this once amazing store. By the way zero stars is not an option but would have been my choice. Guess I am hitting the La Mirada store for now on. Thanks to the un helpful and rude new manager at the Norwalk...

This Grocery Outlet is the best for SAVINGS, SAFETY and CLEANLINESS and of course, the BARGINS. I am never disappointed shopping there, every single time I find something I really don't need at an INCREDIBLE Price and BUY it. They are not an out of date items there, some are close to the expiration date, but mostly not. But the incredible deals,! I bought two carpet runners for more than 50% off retail prices. Kind of like buy one get one free. Who doesn't like deals and SAVINGS. I bought 3lbs of organic grapes, .99 cents. They were fresh and ready to eat. Now I look forward to looking at their weekly, I signed up for the emails for the advertised bargains and never ever disappointed. The employees are THE BEST! They have great attitudes even when there is a long line of shoppers, smiling and asked if we have found everything we were looking for. Smiling and joking with us. Professional and Friendly, especially during this 2020 Covid season. Kindness...

I went there for $3 mochi ice cream and they did not have it. So they update their stock similar to aldi. They have things at a fair price but I wish they had variety. For example I saw Treseme conditioner but no shampoo. They don't have product in bulk like Smart & Final but it's definitely affordable. I go there to shop only for myself so they normally have what I need. The staff is really nice and helpful in my experience. I'm giving them 5 stars in comparison to aldi.

Update: A week or 2 after posting this they brought back the mochi. But I'm still unsure about how often the stock of mochi will...
