Chinatown Express — Restaurant in Norwalk

Went today and had an absolutely horrible visit. Asked for a plate of chow mein and rice, as my sides I asked for spicy chicken on both, the lady working added one portion first then asked me again what I wanted for the second, I told her the same for both sides, she then proceeded to scoot the food she has already put in first portion to the side and just added vegetables and closed the plate. Then when I was paying I asked for a large Thai tea no boba, I proceeded to tell her I wanted no ice and she said it was a $.50 charge extra if I declined ice. I asked so you charge me for not wanting ice and she said yes. I told her to just add the ice then she proceeded to fill the cup fully with ice and the drink did not fit to the point it was spilling out. Mind you all the cup was practically ice. The food has a good taste I’m just so fed up with the fact their customers service is absolute trash, this is not the first situation I’ve encountered but it’s the only place near me!! I hate the way they run their business. Scamming customers in portions and always money hungry. Also my boba was $8 . Just for ice!!!!!!! Do not go. Absolute...

Never have I ever experienced such negative experiences in my life. I’ve been a loyal customer to this China Express location for years (15 years to be exact). I’ve only been ignoring their horrible customer service for years because of their food. However, my recent most negative experience happened when I was being served by one of the Asian ladies and as usual giving me horrible attitude. But this time she decided to only fill my plate halfway. I brought it to her attention and she became bothered with it. She reluctantly gave me a little more. Afterwards a Hispanic male chef approaches from behind her to the counter. He observes what I'm getting, I bought a fountain drink, and then he says “You can't get a refill.” After all the awful service, this person comes up to me and tells me I can't get a refill when the fountain drink machine is open to the customers (not even one refill.) On top of their bad service this place isn't sanitary at all, there are rat traps in the back. I advise everyone to not come here if they desire excellent customer service & a sanitary...

This Place is horrible. The lady there is so rude and inpatient and looks bothered as she is serving my food. I had to tell her, lady there's is no need to get upset. It seems I'm not ordering fast enough for her or maybe I shouldn't wait on a new batch of beef broccoli and I should get something else, who knows what her problem is. As I'm paying for my order a lady that was waiting on her food tapped me on my back and said, " Thank you for saying something because she was rude with me when I placed my order" Then I realized, oh man she's like this with everyone.
