First I'm not one to give bad reviews unless the business is totally lacking in certain ways. I came in with 3 other people for fathers day. First the waitress hardly paid any attention to us, and the business was not busy we had the entire front section to ourselves. Second the food was under prepared. We ordered calamari as a appetizer which was rubbery. We ordered a lobster Mac and cheese for Dad and that was literally dripping like soup, when the waitress checked in on us nearly 20 minutes after dropping off our food, we finally had to opportunity to tell her about the Mac and cheese which she offered to comp since we all were well into eating the rest of our meals and we actually got to order more drinks. Unfortunately my dad had been looking forward to that Mac n cheese, he's been eating it at the restaurant for 2 years! We also ordered a pizza which was still slightly raw. The good points are the bathrooms were very clean, when the waitress actually spoke with us she was friendly and had a good tone. In general bad experience for a place that's average plate cost is $25. Also if you check in on customers and recommend plates your business could earn...
Read moreMy family and I decided to check it out, based on a friend's recommendation. We should up about 8:30 and the kitchen closed at 9:00. We ordered the buffalo chicken pizza. A veggie pizza, the chicken pasta and the fish n chips. My daughter's said their pizza was good and it looked like nicely made pies. My wife had the pasta, she said it was alright and I had the fish n chips. If you're looking for authentic style batter, this is NOT it. I was disappointed with my expectations. The fish was good. The batter was a light coating, seasoned well, but not what one expects. Beer selection is nice, about 20 beers on tap. Full bar and specials throughout the week. I'd go back, but I wouldn't order the fish n chips. The reason for only 4 stars is the disappointment with my dish and the plates came out almost 10 minutes before the pizza's. ALL in ALL, it's...
Read moreI joined a large group later in the evening right before karaoke was starting. I ordered a drink and gave the waitress my card. She said that the table was all on one bill, no one had said to separate it. I told her that was fine but I was paying for my drink and I doubted it was going to be on one tab as everyone had a card and no cash. She repeatedly said it was not her problem and we would have to figure it out. She did take my card after much argument and let me pay for my drink. After that I just went to the bar and ordered my drinks. The most interesting thing was that at the table Sandra charged me $7.63 for a $7.00 alcoholic drink but at the bar I was charged $7.00. I wonder how much money they are making on taxing alcohol? I thought that...
