Redwood Bagel Company — Restaurant in Novato

The whole review all hinges on one poor moment of customer service. I went early, and the store was still closed even though it is scheduled to be open. I decide to wait to the top of the hour, and good news, somebody turns up and opens up. I figure they won't have bagels yet, but decided to try anyway. I ask if they're serving bagels and are they fresh this morning. I'm told yes. I order and they were completely stale. Clearly from the previous morning.

I could have forgiven opening late, but dishonesty is unforgiveable. I won't be back.

Alternatives are limited in Novato. You can get fresh bagels in Safeway, but if you can, then head down to San Rafael, and there's a place called bagel street in Terra Linda. Much,...

Redwood Bagel is the best surprise in Novato. It makes no sense that such a delightful source of bagels can be found in this town. One would expect such genuine quality to be found in a larger city like Manhattan. In Novato, one would expect Noah's, but then again, we all know Noah's aren't bagels. Rather they are merely Wonder Bread loaves formed in a circle.

This is a very good place to get bagels and sandwiches. Prices here are phenomenal. The quality of the food that you receive is that a food that is twice the price they are asking for.
