In all, honestly, the best views are on the first part of the trail. The tail end is more challenging and a workout than anything. So if you're going solely for a mental and physical challenge, this is the hike for you or views. I would recommend another trail. At the beginning you are rewarded with views of the ocean and close by Bay before you start trucking through the woods of Hawaii. Most of it is through brush and trees, so watch your footing as the leaves. Hide many dangers underneath of them so you don't want to roll your ankles. Towards the top the elevation really gets steep and you are hiking along the Ridgeline while you don't have to do any climbing you may have to use some ropes that are there to help you along the way. Once you get to the top, tell Becca views of the city on the other side of the Ridgeline but Nothing to write home about. The way down is a little bit more difficult as you really have to watch your step and the leaves can get slippery.
