Estetica MedSpa — Attraction in O’Fallon

I’ve had quite the experience with this MedSpa but I will try to keep this as brief as possible. I saw Ashleigh for botox a little over two months ago. I chose this place because of their apparent good reviews and because it wasn’t far from my house. I asked for botox for crow’s feet and in the masseter area. I had botox for crow’s feet in the past at a different place (prior to our move) and everything was perfect. However, this time I had a terrible reaction to the botox. Upon further investigation, I realized Ashleigh had not only injected botox to my crow’s area (lateral outer eyes) but she also injected it all along my under eyes as well. I most definitely did not ask for this and honestly did not see a problem with my undereye area. I also had told Ashleigh I wanted to be conservative with my treatment. Two days later I noticed severe puffiness under my eyes. So severe that I did not want to leave my house! I began researching and found information on the possibility of this resulting from botox under the eyes and preventing lymphatic drainage. I immediately informed Ashleigh and assured me this was not the case and that more botox would fix it she promised. She after two weeks I went back in and had more botox injected under my eyes after I was assured again that lymphatic build up was not the cause and that all I needed was MORE botox. The next day my eyes were worse than ever. Massive puffiness overwhelmed my under eye area. The winkles looked a million times better than this!

Anyways, two months later and the problem is still present. Trying to wait patiently for the botox to wear off and my face to return to normal (hopefully). The bigger problem though is the management of this problem. I have asked repeatedly for my documents and before pictures for the new MedSpa I am going to and they have yet to give them to me even though I signed a release form. I was told I would receive a refund from Ashleigh (who since has passed me off to two others) and then another nurse before the owner took charge. I thought for sure the problem would be resolved (a refund and my pictures would be issued) but this was hopeful thinking. The owner has repeatedly told me one thing and not followed through. She even provided me her personal number but never responded back! I really never leave negative reviews but this place is honestly the worst place I have ever been… by a long shot!

My advice to anyone is this: there are numerous qualified, highly-skilled medical sps in the area. Choose another place for your cosmetic treatments and care. I only wish I received this advice prior.

Estetica MedSpa is such a great medspa. It’s filled with Women who LOVE women. It’s comfortable and relaxing. It smells incredible in there btw! The staff is kind and always smiling. I promise you will never walk in that place and feel talked abt, feel looked at funny, feel judged, or feel uncomfortable. They call you by your name. They are genuinely happy to see you! And all of this stated is just what you’ll experience when you walk through the door. The 1:1 experience inside your room is a whole nother experience. The time spent with your injector or skin expect isn’t rushed at all. Time is spent talking abt what you want, what you need, what might benefit from. They aren’t pushy, I have never went it and felt like I spent more than I planned when I came in. They are gentle and caring people. They always ask abt my family and they always make you feel like you’re already so beautiful. We all know that going to any medspa isn’t cheap. But they are so great abt making sure you get every penny’s worth. I also appreciated that she explained each step of the process, making sure I was comfortable throughout the treatment.

After the facial, my skin felt rejuvenated, smooth, and had a noticeable glow. I could see a visible reduction in redness and my complexion looked much more even. It was the perfect mix of relaxation and effective skincare.
