This review might be lengthy, but I promise, it will also be totally helpful to that one bride or groom who doesn't know the slightest about planning weddings. My husband and I had our microwedding here on 6/17/22 and have zero regrets choosing this venue. Chris was absolutely sweet, patient, and informative. With how busy she seems to be, she still managed to communicate very well with me about the wedding details beforehand and made me feel like mine was the only wedding she was helping to plan. She never made me feel inferior and helped me to feel comfortable during the entireplanning process. The venue was absolutely beautiful on the wedding day, and even though it stormed that morning, you would have never guessed it by looking around. She and her staff helped with setting up my personal decor and never once rushed me. The ceremony went smoothly as Chris and her staff pretty much directed everything, timing, who goes where and when, etc. I was allowed to breathe and take in the sight of my groom waiting at the end of the path for me instead of being anxious about the details. The reception was wonderful as well. We chose Pasta House (which was a fantastic idea by the way) for our lunch (our microwedding was 11am-3pm). My son was our mc and Chris still saw to it that announcements were made (even though my son was slacking lol). We also chose to use the Marry Me Cottage floral arrangements and were able to get a package that we could afford. They were all perfect, fresh, reasonably priced, and stayed in tact the entire time. Chris also communicated very well with my baker, the photographer, officiant, and the caterer. My husband and I didn't want a gigantic wedding and had about 37 guests, which turned out to be enough (my mom and aunt unfortunately weren't able to come because their flight kept getting rescheduled). We wanted something beautiful that captured our love for eachother in it's most raw and vulnerable state and to have a garden style setting with a picturesque template to celebrate our love in. Marry Me Cottage did that for us and I'm eternally grateful to Chris and her staff for making that possible and helping to create the best day of our new life together for my...
Read moreI would give them ZERO stars if I could.
Most girls dream of their wedding day from a young age and my niece was no different. There was not a detail of that day that she did not plan with great love and care.
Unfortunately, Marry Me Cottage did their very best to RUIN this beautiful day for her!
Instead of coordinating as they promised they would, they were eavesdropping on private conversations. (I was helping set up decorations and couldn't even find them to get the information on where the ceremony would take place. They were truly no where to be found.) While they were eavesdropping, they overheard a discussion about the bride's father recent recovery of Covid-19. He had a negative test, was vaccinated, had no symptoms for over 3 days and was wearing a mask and distancing himself in this outdoor setting. My family takes this pandemic VERY seriously and would never compromise other's health for any reason.
I understand there is a lot of ignorance around Covid-19 and the owners fall into this category. They approached my niece moments before she was to walk down the aisle to bully her into telling her dad he had to leave or she couldn't go through with the wedding. They would not listen to reason or follow the science, they just were hysterical and manipulating. She felt forced her to tell him he had to leave. To top it all off, they did not communicate to anyone else what had happened, we found out when she walked down the aisle by herself.
Once the ceremony was over and we started to get an understanding of what had gone on, they absolutely refused to have any type of discussion with any one that asked questions. They lied about what happened and tried to deflect their responsibility in the entire situation. In fact, they called the police on one guest who was standing up for the bride and her dad and forced him to leave as well.
The people at Marry Me Cottage are very unprofessional. They do not care about their clients and will ruin your...
Read moreSuch a beautiful place to get married!!! We had a “micro” wedding and there was nothing micro about it!!! Everything was very extravagant and beautiful!!!! We were able to secure our date quickly, we signed our contract right away and everything moved along quickly. The ladies were so quick to respond or call if I had questions. They were very helpful planning our special day, our rehearsal went so smoothly it put me at such ease! They were in contact with all of our vendors and made everything as easy as possible for me. Our ceremony took place in a fairytale woodland! I don’t think there is one spot in the entire venue that is not picture perfect. Our Sneak pea photos from our photographer are stunning my mouth dropped seeing how much fun we were all having and how pretty everything looked. The photos on their website don’t do this place enough justice! I definitely recommend viewing it in person! I also recommend paying the extra fee for early set up! The reception space was perfect. I don’t regret a single thing. A micro wedding is the perfect amount of guests, the perfect amount of time to do all the wedding essentials! they are very organized, and have excellent customer service! We had such a great time! It was a beautiful day I will remember for the rest of my life. I am so grateful for all of the staff and so blessed we found such a beautiful place for such a...
