It used to be fun, and now it’s frustrating. We loved this place as Rockin’ Jump, but under Sky Zone, staff friendliness is gone. We weren’t told our old jump socks weren’t allowed, and 5 minutes in, our child was pulled off and crying...
I don’t enjoy leaving negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share this so others can make an informed decision, especially those who remember the good old days of Rockin’ Jump.
If you're reading reviews, make sure to check the most recent ones. The ownership has changed, and with it, so has the experience. What once was a fun and friendly environment at Rockin' Jump has become a noticeably downgraded version under Sky Zone.
Our family spent a lot of great times at Rockin’ Jump, and we were regulars. One of the things we always appreciated was the flexibility with jump socks. Any safety socks from any trampoline park were always accepted. Naturally, we grabbed our kids’ jump socks and headed out like we always had.
We signed the usual waiver, paid for our jump time, and weren’t told anything about a sock policy change. Not five minutes in, our child came back in tears because the staff wouldn’t let her jump. We told her to go back out and try again, but another staff member immediately called her off again, pointing at her feet.
When I asked for clarification — especially since the rubber-grip socks were bought at that very location under the previous name — I was told we had to purchase Sky Zone–branded socks if we wanted our kids to jump. No explanation, no safety reason, just "policy."
We had to go back to the front, wait in a long line, and buy new socks. I still held out hope they would acknowledge the misunderstanding and at least extend the jump time to make up for what we lost — but no. We paid for the socks, and that lost time? Gone. No refunds or extensions.
Out of curiosity, I asked several staff (including at the desk) what made their socks special. I was only told, again, "It’s policy." That’s not a reason. It’s branding — and a forced upsell. While $4 per pair might not seem like much, it’s the principle that leaves a bad taste. How do people feel about being forced to pay extra for the privilege of advertising someone else’s logo?
Other observations:
Staff are allowed to wear whatever footwear they want — apparently, the sock policy only applies to paying customers.
The rock climbing wall is essentially nonfunctional now. The upper half has had all the pegs removed, so most kids just sit in the foam pit there.
There’s an intercom announcement every 15 minutes repeating the rules, which are already posted everywhere. It feels overbearing — possibly the result of past legal issues?
The staff enforcement of jump time has become uncomfortably strict. We understand that time limits are necessary, but the tone and delivery have become unnecessarily harsh.
R.I.P. Rockin’ Jump. You gave our family years of fun, and we’ll treasure those memories. Sadly, this new version just...
Read moreI was surprised in the best way going here this time, even though we’ve gone several times previously and have had just ok experiences. The employees, each one of them that I encountered and spoke with were just so kind, professional and patient. Not one of them were rude considering their ages and most of them being younger. I love that when you want to rent a locker it’s so simple and you’re given 3 hours for 6 dollars and they have longer times that cost a tiny bit more. It was all touch screen. I felt comfortable using the locker for our personal things. There were plenty of seats to sit and watch you kids jump. With all the people that were there not once did I have trouble finding somewhere to sit. My son rolled his ankle and a couple of them were quick to run over and they provided a place where he could elevate his foot and provided ice for the swelling. I even seen one of the team members playing tag with the kids. Wonderful team members!! The food was so much better than I remember. A bit pricey, but I’d say worth it. We jumped for 2 hours and I paid for an extra hour of jumping time for the kids because they did not want to leave. I sat out on that one. There were a lot of kids considering it’s spring break but we didn’t feel crowded at all. We just had such a good time that I will be going back more often with them. My only complaint was just the food, crumbs and spills on the floor. There were some crumbs on the trampoline. That’s to be expected with all the kids and traffic that comes in. We will be going back very soon.! Thank you Rockin’ jump for being so awesome!!! I...
Read moreI had a Mega VIP party there this past weekend. There was no table cloths like the description said (i even asked the party host if we would get one and she said she didn’t know but in the other rooms they had them) , my kids didn’t receive their party t-shirts nor their free jump pass for a later date, our “private game” wasn’t private at all there was a bunch of random kids in the dodgeball spot and i told the person who was watching it that i didn’t know those kids and it was suppose to be a private game for the party and she said “okay????” And didn’t kick them out of there and one of them hit my 1 year old nephew in the face with a ball and made him bleed everywhere) the party host was extremely sweet but was running behind the entire time to the point we was rushed out in the middle of opening presents. (We was suppose to be called to eat at 1:15- we didn’t get called till after 1:30 so that left us with less than 30 minutes to eat pizza, do cake, and open presents which is unrealistic), the entire place was booked for parties and on top of that every table, booth, stool was filled with people it was just over crowded, there also was no where to park the entire front parking lot, side of the building, back parking lot was full people were parking across the street and walking over because there was no parking. A bunch of parents was saying there should be a limit on the amount of people let in and i agree. I’ll bring my kids back to regular jump but for $500 the party wasn’t worth it at all so we won’t be...
