As you can see by the pictures this chili cheese dog was completely inedible!!!! The chili was literally BLACK!!! I took one bite to see if maybe it would be okay but something in my head said spit it out you could get food poisoning!!! Why is it black? This is absolutely DISGUSTING!!! I ordered from Uber Eats. I took these pictures and tried to send them to Uber Eats to get my money back but it won't allow me to and their platform just says thanks for the feedback. I am not looking to give feedback. I am looking for resolution by either refunding my money for the chili cheese dog (if that is what you want to call this) or at the very least replacing it with one that is actually fresh and not looking like something that came out of a lagoon in a sci-fi movie. So, in an attempt to at least get a fresh chili dog the next time I visit the store I called up there and spoke with someone named JUSTIN! I asked to speak with a supervisor and he said he is the manager. I explained the situation to him. He said he couldn't refund it because I ordered through Uber Eats. Which is fine. I understand that. But I still paid for something I could not consume because LOOK AT THE PICTURES! He said they would make me a fresh one if I came up there TODAY ONLY. I asked if I could just come another day because I was heading to work (and also, I'm not in the mood to try giving your chili cheese dog another chance after this) and he said no. Apparently, they are not willing to earn my repeat business by making this right for a time that is convenient for me. I have to do it today or they are basically like too bad and we don't care that we could have given you food poisoning by serving you this sludge on a bun! JUSTIN said they have a "Remake today only policy"! That is absurd! Not everyone is able to go back the same day for you to fix an issue YOU caused. This policy is not good for a store that is clearly suffering from lack of business and staff and you would think they would want to make this right. I don't think I'm asking too much. I just want my chili cheese dog! THAT'S IT! I'm not asking for my money back or complaining about the whole order (the fries and blizzard were good....well the fries were cold but fries are always cold when being delivered, they can't help that...just dip them in some bbq and ranch and you're good). I just want my frickin chili cheese dog!!!! DO NOT EAT HERE! Their customer service sucks and the food..... Look at the pictures. Need I say more???? Now, I'm off to Yelp to share this with them too. Oh, and this is the store located at the corner of Bryan Road and Veterans Memorial Parkway...
Read more4/14/24 Follow up review, took my wife and stopped in for bite of food. Both hD chicken tenders basket with fries, and onion rings, they have the best chicken tenders, great taste, crispy, onion rings are about the best we have had anywhere around Ofallon, only equat to Sea Galley. The staff always very friendly, smiling, helpfull, fast service great tasting food, and ice cream and lots more It's a pleasure to eat at the resturant, clean always, very nice staff If you haven't tried it or not lately you got to treat your self, drive in or carry out or relax enjoy confortable seating inside, they got it all and great managers. We might see you there on our next trip only 1.5 mile for us to get there.
1/4/24: Made another stop for a quick luncheon with my wife and found again, very nice help, soon as you walk in the door, there is no at this business. After reviewing the large menu isn't easy to narrow down choices to what to have. Today was chicken strip, with onion rings and French fries and drink, wife had chicken strips, onion rings, drink and a free sundae "strawerry. Everything was wonderful, great taste, flavor and served fast. The city best far as we found in two years we've now been here, for onion rings, and chicken strips. Entire staff working is all friendly, smiles and really acts like they are glad to see you to eat. The Manager on duty ( didn't get his name) you can't miss him very tall man and he's everywhere you look helping the team, he's very nice and definitely knows how to build a team. Again, we just enjoy coming this this location about anywhere in town. Thank you to the STAFF TEAM, and the manager, please keep it up, your on target. 100%.
I have grown up with DQ, and I am so glad there's one here in Ofallon. I've been there twice. We have moved back here, and food is just great quality. Quality, severed very quickly, and the staff we have had contact with is very friendly, welcoming, glad you stopped in.all food has been very tasty and onion rings are really good and so crispy The same employee we have waited on us and brought our food to us Jeff, he's a ten in this company. The ice cream is as great, cakes out of this world as they have been. It kind a makes you feel like a home style environment which is hard to find these days. Their staff is usually very polite. Last Sunday evening we ordered some baskets to take home. When we arrived home we had many missing items. You I am sure have experienced this at one time or another at a resteraunt. Mistakes happen, I am forgiving on that front. What I am not okay with is when the store mgr/owner makes the error and inconvenience all about them and not about making it right with their customer!! What it comes down to is how the establishment handles the situation. In this case it was handled with well if you do not come right back up here right now there is nothing we can do or will do period!! So, let let me get this straight, your store made errors and inconvenienced me the customer so let's inconvenience you even more by having us get back in our vehicle drive back up while your food at home is getting so cold it will no longer be edible. Yes, that sounds like superior customer service, doesn't it!!?? Absolutely not! I wonder if this manager/owner would accept that as customer service if this were them on the opposite end!! I will answer that, NO!! In the world of retail, you can chose to handle a valid complaint with ease and a rational solution.....or be obnoxious and prove that as a customer you are not a valued customer.
