Visiting El Capitan Meadows was truly an awe-inspiring experience. The towering granite cliffs of El Capitan, framed by the lush greenery of the surrounding trees, created a breathtaking backdrop for a serene walk. The well-maintained road and the peaceful atmosphere made it a perfect spot for leisurely strolls and to soak in the natural beauty of Yosemite. Walking along the road with the majestic El Capitan in the background was a surreal experience. The combination of towering trees and the impressive rock formation made for an unforgettable visit. I was captivated by the magnificent landscape and found myself completely immersed in the moment. One of the highlights was catching the golden hour light hitting the cliffs, creating a stunning play of shadows and colors. Watching climbers on the rock face was both humbling and inspiring, a reminder of human determination and the wonders of nature. It was an enriching experience that left me feeling rejuvenated and deeply connected to the beauty of Yosemite. Highly recommend visiting El Capitan Meadows for anyone traveling to Yosemite National Park. It's a must-see destination that offers a unique and...

This piece of Granite sure is big ! Set within the national park, this imposing chunk of granite is impressive indeed. You can see climbers going up on its flat vertical surface (brave but crazy people). Not much to do there if you are not climbing or hiking, but definite a 'must part' of your...

El Capitan Meadow is breathtaking! You can spend some time taking in the beauty of El Capitan, cathedral mountain and surroundings! Bridge view is also beautiful with just a short hike from where the shuttle bus stops. It’s hard to describe this place you have to take in the beauty and...

YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK 🏞️ Itinerary for your first day!👇 🌄 Get up early to watch the sunrise at Tunnel View. The iconic view of Yosemite Valley is the perfect way to start the day. Totally worth the 4am wake up call 😅 ⛰️ Drive through the valley floor. Just simply driving or taking the shuttle through the valley will give you the most beautiful views. Yosemite is huge, so this is a great way to get your bearings. 🌲 Pull over to take in the views. As you’re driving through the valley, you will notice multiple pull offs on the side of the road. Pull over at ANY of them for a stunning photo op. Waterfall views galore! 🥾 Walk the Lower Yosemite Falls Trail. This is such a perfect introductory hike for this park. It’s only a mile and flat + paved for the most part. Not to mention, GORGEOUS. 💧Play in the waterfall mist. The Lower Yosemite Falls Trail leads to the base of the fall and you can walk a bridge that goes right across. This is a really fun place to take photos. 🏞️ Go see El Cap up close. El Capitan is larger than life, you really have to see it in person because photos do not do it’s epicness justice! 🧺 Have a picnic at El Capitan Meadow. We packed a lunch and got to enjoy it in the meadow with views of El Cap. One of the prettiest places we’ve ever had lunch! 🫶🏼 This itinerary is a great way to get introduced to the park and take it easy before hitting the more intense hikes later on in your trip. Your 2 day itinerary to Yosemite National Park. 🏞Save for future!📌 🏠Where to stay- Yosemite Valley Lodge Yosemite Bug Rustic Mountain Resort Tuolumne Meadows Lodge(seasonal) White Wolf Lodge 👉🏻Pro tip- Staying inside the park is obviously expensive but will save you a lot of time in traveling. So choose according to your need. If you have more days in hand, it’s better to stay outside the park. 🍔Where to eat- Degnan’s Deli in Base Camp Eatery Curry Village Pizza Deck 👉🏻Pro tip- save yourself some time by preparing sandwiches and some healthy snack in the morning because the queue for food is really long speciallly during peak time. ⛰what to explore- Taft Point (best for sunset, 2.2 miles out & back) Vernal Fall(3 miles out and back, steep trail) Nevada Falls(6 miles out and back, strenuous) Tunnel View Sentinel Bridge El Capitan Meadow Cathedral Rock Glacier Point 👉🏻Pro tip- the best time to visit Yosemite is late spring or early fall when all the waterfalls are in their peak. We visited around early September and the Bridal veil falls and Yosemite Falls were dry, so that was a bummer. Hope it helps, save and share!!❤️ . . . . . . . . . . . #usanationalparks #nationalparks #nationalpark #nature #roadtrip #usa #findyourpark #travelphotography #nationalparkgeek #hiking #naturephotography #nationalparksusa #nationalparkobsessed #nationalparkguide #nationalparkservice #roadtripusa #travelgram #california #californiaadventure #californianationalparks #caliexplored #naturalcalifornia #yosemitenationalpark #yosemitevalley #mountains #adventure #halfdome #elcapitan #national_park_photography
