As someone who spent much of their childhood at Dimond Park, I can attest to just how special this place truly is. After being away for thirty years, a recent visit to the park brought back so many wonderful memories of field trips, afternoons spent with family and friends, and summer days running around the creek. There's something about this park that just sticks with you, even after all these years. And yet, despite the passage of time, Dimond Park has remained virtually unchanged. It still has that same energy that drew me in as a kid, and it's heartening to see that it continues to bring joy to new generations of visitors.
One of the things that really struck me about Dimond Park is how well-maintained everything is. Despite its popularity and the constant flow of visitors, the park is clean, tidy, and welcoming. The park offers a wide range of activities and amenities to suit every interest and age group. Whether you're looking to play a game of tennis, take a dip in the pool, or let the kids burn off some energy in the playground, there's something here for everyone. It's a place that truly embodies the spirit of community and connection, and it's sure to leave a lasting impression whether you’re a long time resident or just...
Read moreI grew up going to the day camp here. Its been revamped and has a brighter, better feel to it now. This place has a really nice walking path if your trying to stretch your legs and not trying to drive far. There are 3 playgrounds from what I have seen. One right down the stairs from the main parking lot that more for kids 6+, one closer to the main public bathrooms that's for 5 and under, and another that's 6+ closer to the tennis courts near the street. The best part about this park is its not far from really anything. For those that want a little adventure, there is this place way in the back that we called 'golf ball graveyard'. Its a decent walk, and I wouldn't say its easy, but I havent been there in well over 15 years. From what I remmeber, expect Thorn bushes and possibly poison oak. If you go, remmeber this phrase 'leaves of three,...
Read moreI DO enjoy this park with my child but it has a bit of a "shady" vibe, especially around certain areas of the park. On many occasions they don't collect the trash often enough or a huge party from the weekend left all their trash and it looks terrible next to toddler playgrounds. The music spaceship looking thing is a game that you play but even adults don't get it. It looks expensive and it's useless, except some kids like the music. Why not build a musical instrument like drums, metal xylophone that other parks have besides this? Poor design. The other playground structures (2 others) well, one by the shaded area is just gross and outdated. The other one near the sand is OK but the sand can be nasty and kinda muddy at times. Broken old toys everywhere. But friendly nannies come here and are nice. It's a good scooter and...
