There are no stars for Ocala, and let me tell you why. I'm a resident. So here's my story. I heard someone screaming, a man and woman. I pounded on a neighbor's door. Call the cops, someone's in trouble, I'm going to go and try to diffuse the situation. I went and I talked the person down, the cops never came. I walked away trying to figure out where they (the cops) were. The neighbor never called. They said "not my business". Oh so a woman getting beaten shouldn't get the help of the police? He said "if you want to call, be my guest". So I did, and I told the operator, he openly admitted he was a paranoid schizophrenic and he was screaming and so was the woman and someone might be hurt and I was going to go back a second time and try to diffuse the situation.
