Fantastic courts, great people! It's the 3rd week of September, generally only members can play in the mornings, but if they aren't full and need more people to play, they'll let you play for $5. From what I understand it is advanced play from 7:30 - 9:40, then intermediate play until 12pm, and then anyone (member or not) can come play from 12pm on. You can always call and see if they need more people if you're not a member.
Surface is great, there's some great acoustic barrier that they have hung on the fence, so it's echoey in there -- the barrier also helps with the wind, but it's the beach so there's going to be wind!
The style of play from 7:30 - 9:40 is you get a group of 4, then stick together for a best of 3 (at least) -- then check the rack and see if anyone is waiting, if not you just keep playing with the same group.

Showed up 20 minutes early for the 3rd-morning session, the website clearly states that if there are open slots, the public can drop in and play. There were 60+ spots open and the queen of pickleball gave us a hard time wanting to play. Once we told her her own rules, she begrudgingly showed us where to wait in line. Before that, we were amazed by the amount and quality of the courts. While admiring the courts, Queen Pickleball swiftly escorted us out of the courts because it wasn't our time yet.
