Our family’s 3rd year visiting to pick blueberries and it’s definitely become a loved tradition. There’s always ample parking (even at peak picking times). And most importantly everyone is always super friendly. They have a free tractor ride, a playground, and a bounce house for the kiddos. They also have a handful of Radio Flyer wagons (plastic ones that are easier to pull) for you to use during your visit for younger kids who may get tired or may be runners and need to be strapped down. They sell their own Jam, honey, as well as honey butter and blueberry butter. They introduced blueberry lemonade this year and it was being sold a lot so I’m sure they’ll bring that back next year - tasted great! You can pick your own blueberries or buy prepicked (the difference is $1/pound more for prepicked). I highly suggest picking your own if your physically able - a fun experience for the whole family AND you get to taste test a bit in the process. They also sell blueberry plants, we got a couple today (4/23/22) at $15 each. Other info: For anyone concerned about social distancing, there’s always enough room for you to have a whole row of blueberry bushes to yourself so don’t be worried! For anyone sensitive to loud sounds, you may want to bring headphones. Our son usually has sensitivities so we have one most of the time. They have a loudspeaker playing bird and crowing sounds to scare off other animals from stealing the berries.

Awesome blueberry picking!!! So plentiful to visit in March. Very straight forward to get a bucket and be sent to pick, they'll recommend a section of their plants that have the best picking depending on when you go. I'd definitely encourage tasting the blueberries as you pick, because some sections of the fields taste slightly different, and even the different ripeness-colors taste different, from sweet to bland to sour. We spent 10 bucks on about half a bucket, 2 pounds, which I think is a pretty good deal. We also got the blueberry lemonade slush for 4 bucks and it was so good! Nice and sour and very refreshing after a hot day. We spent an hour here just goofing off, but I'm sure you can be in and out within 20 mins if needed, or can spend longer here if you want. Definitely don't go with a full belly!

I feel very lucky to live right across the street from this amazing blueberry farm. They're open everyday from 9-5. Right now blueberries are $5/pound to pick yourself, but you can also drive in and purchase already picked blueberries for $6/pound if you don't have the time. They're worth the time though! They keep bees on property to help pollinate their bushes and sell their delicious honey too! It's worth the trip to Tom West! *Pictured are the delicious blueberries from the farm along with one of their yummy muffins. I made a blueberry syrup and griddle toasted the blueberry with some butter. You've gotta try a muffin like that at least once in your life! (Cut muffin in half, butter the halves, then toast in a pan like you would a grilled cheese. 😋🫐💙)
