Lake Hefner — Attraction in Oklahoma City

Some scary people, I don't know who they were, if they were a gang/family, or just people camping there. Had a motorcycle w 1 rider drive & light us up, but cruised on. Then some hooty-hoos & 1 was closer to us, then a car from direction we 1st heard the hooty-hoos comes around & drives in our little circle drive & lights us up as well. They keep driving & heading back where they come from, but stop, park, & turn lights off. Just sitting there, we felt very uncomfortable & we left. We were there to check...

Absolutely fantastic adventure oasis within the city. I needed to escape, unwind and dissociate for an hour or three and this good ole lake Hefner Came in clutch. Will always be returning customers and visitors. Great fishing...

Great memories here at this lake. Learning how to sail a boat from a 7 footer to an 14 footer. 10 mile walking trail all the way around the lake. RC airport for those who like to fly. Good fishing...
