Went for the Metro Library Book Sale. Another use of the building during off season of State Fair. The Book Sale is a fund raiser for the Library and very well attended. Thousands of books, recorded books, magazines, music, videos, rare books, better books. .. If it can be found at the library it will be found at the sale. Suggested a wheeled basket and sturdy canvas bags to haul purchases. Great prices and a great event. I had such a good time at the fairgrounds! I was on a roadtrip w my son and I loved all the demonstrations and exhibits from the 4H Club. Great job kids! I was very concerned that this would be too crowded on a sat to see anything... but, there was enough room and enough exhibits to accommodate everyone without mass crowding or bumping into each other.
