Gordita Bonita — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

I wish I had taken photos of the food but we were far too busy digging in to think about it. My husband and I shared the Gordita, tacos, and the Mexican hot dog. (If you’re familiar with a Sonoran dog, this is very similar and took me right back to Arizona where they are very popular. I’m thrilled someone here offers something like this!)

The flavors were authentic and perfectly executed. Everything was ready in about 10 minutes which is perfect for my lunch hour. Very fresh and so well done. I already can’t wait to go back. Plus, super friendly! See y’all...

I stopped at Gordita Bonita while I was in OKC for a Dr visit. If okmulgee county wasn't so far away, I'd definitely be eating there as often as my wallet would allow me to! I don't remember the man's name, but I believe it's a mother and son duo who operates the truck. I ordered three different Gorditas. They were all amazing, but the steak one was my absolute favorite!! The green sauce is mild with a hint of sweetness that pairs well with the moms famous red sauce.
