Oklahoma National Stockyards — Attraction in Oklahoma City

I have just finished a 3 year van/motorhome tour of the entire USA. This tour of ONSY the other day was one of the most interesting and a favorite. The real thing, clean pens, well-maintained, a piece of US history. Highly recommend this experience. Bo, a 46 year employee of ONSY, gave a fabulous tour.

As the only remaining functioning stockyard in the USA, Bo, won't you please record those 46 years of stories in a book that you were unable to share in our 90 minute tour? (Not like Laura Ingalls Wilder shared the last days of pioneer life in her book series Little House on the Prairie.) This is important history that you are living. What can you say about a Stockyard? It's a place where you take cattle to be sold. Does it do its job? Yes it does. People come from all over the country to buy cattle here, and to sell them.
