BEWARE!!! We had my daughter's 7th birthday there a couple weeks ago and this was the WORST birthday party experience we've ever had in our multiple parties we've had throughout the years with different party places (mind you we have three kids)... This place takes the cake for worst experiences!!! Let me see where to begin... First of all they were charging for my guest who were NOT skating and were adding them to our tab! It was clear that they were not skating, they either didn't like to skate and/or were wearing flats/sandals. Second our pizzas were 20 minutes late, all of the other tables were on to their cakes or other festivities. When our pizza did arrive they did not bring plates, I asked the girl at the concession stand where our plates where and she told me it would be $2 for plates. I was shocked and asked her again, confused, "So you mean for us to get our initial plates it is $2" and she told me yes. So I went to the old, blonde haired lady (manager) and she told me no there shouldn't be a charge for plates. Why in the world would they expect us to pay an additional fee for plates, they expected my guest to eat with their hands?! So she got on her walkie and told concession they are not to charge for initial plates, and to have the plates taken to our table. When I got to our table plates still were not there. Mind you our pizza is getting cold while these shinanigans are going on. I go to concession ask where our plates are and the girl tried to get an attitude about giving me the plates. I gave the plates to the table and went back to the manager with the complaint of this girls attitude and the manager did not seem concerned what so ever. While all of this is going on they are calling the birthday kids to the center for the festivities. My table had not even began to eat which included my birthday child. All of the other tables were of course ready because their food was not late and they were on cake and presents. This was very disorganized and not worth the stress and the over $250 spent on the party! I also spoke to the table beside us and they had a horrible experiences as well and these poor people paid $2 for their plates. I would strongly suggest going to another place in the surrounding area! They were rude and not customer friendly and lacked the capability to host parties!!! Save your money, or...

This place doesn't know what it wants. The floor guides and announcers are very active, warning about speed and attire, not letting patrons play dodgeball (Basically, it's employee target practice) and having a Guy watching for infractions on skates in the middle of everyone. That's fine...if the focus is kids.
But then the atmosphere is not for younger kids. The music is hip hop and rap exclusively, and they don't limit it to clean versions. Just as bad, the projectors show music videos uncensored, and after the second video full of women grinding backsides on rappers I could tell it was making my daughter uncomfortable.
The prices are moderate to high. 19 bucks for two inline rentals. 15 dollars for two cokes, two slices of pizza, and two pretzels. Concession pretzels were great, if expensive.
Rental skates were sub par, both my daughter's in lines and mine were missing bolts and felt loose. The floor is okay...wooden but full of divots and bumps. They have a neat voluntary wavey section that's kinda cool, but not much else.
All in all, I wouldn't be back if I had a choice. Invasive staff and a lots of constant blather from the announcers telling people to do this or that.
If it's a kids rink, they need to soften the music and prices. If it's a teen and young adult rink, they should advertise it that way, but teens and adults will bristle under the restrictions and constant complaining over the microphone about rules infractions.
In either case, the music and videos are NOT child appropriate, for any age other than maybe...
Read moreThis is one of the worst skating rinks I've ever visited. The rink itself is fine - the wood floor is interesting, as is the section of bumps in the floor - but the staff and the atmosphere make it an extremely unpleasant experience. A staff person made an announcement over the PA system literally every 30 seconds during skating time about various rules and repeatedly warned skaters wearing inline skates to slow down and threatened to take their skates away. As I use inline skates, I was particularly offended by this and felt like I was constantly going too fast, even though I was skating at the same speed as the other skaters. The other announcements consisted of reminders like, "pick up trash," and "tuck laces into rental skates when returning." While they are good things to do, it gave a very negative, nit-picky feel to the experience. Also, there are employees on the skate floor itself who act as bouncers and/or enforcers. Overall, it felt like skating in a minimum security prison. While I agree there should be rules at a skating rink, this was oppressive. I left the skate session early and will never return. I advise all skaters to...
