Visited on a Saturday evening and didn't have the best experience. We came in for blizzards and after a few minutes of looking at the menu - still haven't been greeted and there was no one in line - I walked up first to order. It was about 2-3 minutes before the cashier looked up to say hi. Now, the cashier was busy doing something on the register so it is not an issue of choosing not to help me immediately but not even saying a single word while me and my group had been standing near the front for about 5 minute at this point. I understand you are busy, but acknowledge your customers standing in front of you that are waiting with no acknowledgement which is a literally a simple - "hello, I'll be right with you".
Not a big deal though. So I stand out of the way to wait for my blizzards, and I see a younger guy walking my way with them. He says zero words, nothing. Hands me my blizzards after I ask to confirm what they are. And then I say thank you. He just turns around and walks back to the kitchen area. I also watch this same guy do the same exact thing to my buddy who ordered after me. Seriously? I mean I was raised and also taught at my job that when a customer or a human being says thank you - and clearly means it - that I should probably say "thank you" or something.
I understand these are teenagers working at a fast food place, but I also expect human beings of any age and being paid for employment to not be rude and to not just ignore me when I say thank you or anything. The blizzards were fine, tasted great. Even though I was not given a lid - I asked these to be to-go. And as you can imagine, the kid didn't flip any of them. Now I don't know if this store is one where they "have" to do the flip so I can't speak on that. But overall, I don't plan on ever going out of my way to go to...
Read moreAll the kids on shift when we went to this location need serious training. A grub hub worker had been waiting for his order way before we even got there. Another customer was heading back in as we were entering, to have her order fixed and we stood there for at least 10 minutes and still not had our order taken. There were no other customers inside. There were at least 6 kids working and a manager that I believe was arguing with his girlfriend in the parking lot. If having to wait is the worst thing that happens in my day, it's not a bad day... having said that, it's frustrating watching at least 6 teenagers wandering all around, staring at things, looking confused and not doing anything. They made it clear through their actions of cracking jokes, talking with each other and goofing off that they don't care if they have customers or not. One kid dropped a blizzard on the ground and then proceeded to just stand and stare at it for 2-3 minutes before picking up the cup to throw away and just leaving the spilled ice cream on the ground. They made it clear that they didn't want to do their job. We ended up leaving and in the time it took us to drive to Culver's, order our food and receive it all, we would have still been waiting to even order at Dairy Queen. We were in and out of Culver's in about 10 minutes altogether. They were also extremely busy inside as well as drive-thru. Even with a full house they were extremely pleasant, efficient and so polite! It's sad because DQ is a childhood favorite and it looks like they'll be headed out like Orange Julius and just a...
Read moreI just left this location extremely upset because I had ordered a cake online for mother's day and I personalized it. It was to pick up today around 130 and when the lady walks up with my cake what I wanted written on there is not correct. I asked if there had been a problem and proceeded to show her my email confirmation where it shows what I wanted written on my cake. She then looks at me like to bad take the cake that way. She calls another girl to the counter and she says "is it okay if we write it on the bottom of the cake, but our cake decorator isn't in for the rest of the day." So how is she going to fix my cake when there is no decorator there to fix it. She says do you want to take it? Or place another order for tomorrow? No I want my money back and I can't place another order because it's mother's day for the Hispanic culture today not tomorrow or another day. She never said sorry nor did she offer a refund. Very disappointed because they keep advertising mother's day cakes but if they are going to make them wrong why even bother spending money on the...
