Went here with some friends just the other day. The course took us about 2 and 1/2 hours to do all 18 holes. I was three over on the front nine, and 9 more over on the back nine. Watch your disks by the lake. I'm sure you could jump in and find a bunch of discs if you went looking. It's a fun course, and a good walk. I think it was about 10,000 steps. There were some good tree obstacles on a couple of the holes. Most holes are pretty straightforward. A couple with some decent elevation to throw off your shot, but it's not like some of the hilly courses that are around.

This is my local park and a great place to take my dog on walks. The park is well maintained and accessible. There's a really active disc golf course at the park as well as some fun playground sets for littles. The park also joins up next to Ernie Miller Nature Center so those trails are very accessible as well! The ball fields can get SUPER busy at times, mostly weekend early mornings.

The park is well kept. I've played the disc golf course a few times, it's quite fun and also well kept with concrete tee boxes. It can be a bit hard to find all the holes. Keep in mind that 11-16 are on the back side of the park that goes through the woods. Be careful on the back side, I came across a black snake in a tree!

I don’t know where to leave this review in fact it doesn’t have anything to do with this park, I actually love this park.

However, I spoke with Linda with the parks and recreation, who told me she is the one who handles scheduling and booking fields for this specific park. Before the end of the call I even confirmed that she gave me the correct number and that I specifically need to speak to her in regards to booking a field.

Now we are a few days from my little sisters bday party with no field booked for kick ball because Ms. Linda is unreachable and lied. These fields can’t be booked because there are other sports booked for the season here. Thanks for ruing...

This is a superb coarse! I love that its 83rd rated on udisk. Technical , woody, dog legs, alleyways, elevation, distance.. If your not versed in different throws this may not be for you, this one will test ya. Definitely a top 10 coarse in KC.(IMO) Well manicured and kept. Plenty of trash receptacles. Concrete Tees and nice solid baskets. Loads of obstruction trees and alleyways. Some low ceilings. I think they could put arrows in the baskets to help the people who have never thrown here. I also wish ppl would put their dogs landmines...
