ALDI — Local services in Olathe

Bought some bacon wrapped sirloin filets and found out after cooking them that they are nowhere close to being a filet steak. A play on words was used in packaging and it was deceptive in nature which is completely unacceptable in today's society. We thought we were getting a mignon cut of meat and it was the toughest 1.5 inch steak we have ever bought and tried to consume. I remember that they have a "twice as nice" guarantee and so we kept the packaging and receipt and returned to so more shopping and also ask for a refund on their publicly posted policy and they completely ignored the 'twice as nice" policy and only refunded my money which was fine, but we were expecting to choose another cut of meat to try using their guarantee. I love shopping at Aldi. The prices are always decent, and they have a growing selection of organic foods. They have a fun seasonal aisle that is always changing. Everything else stays the same unless they add new items. Love that because I enjoy knowing exactly where to go in the store to get what I need. I prefer going here over Walmart for basic groceries. We can get a literal cart full of all the food, for our household of 3, for under $200. It usually lasts us two weeks. We can't do that at Walmart. Be sure to bring your own bags as they do not sack your groceries. They encourage the use of resuable bags. They do have paper bags and resuable ones for sale. Also, bring a quarter. You put in a mechanism on the cart to retrieve a cart and get it back when you return it to the corral. They do offer curbside...

Manager was extremely rude. Had an extremely busy store and 2 lanes open. She opened a third lane and there was 3 of us to begin with all 3 had less than 15 items. I was holding my 4 month old on my hip as I only can in to grab a few things and she very rudely told me she was closing the lane before me. I had to go to the end of the line next to me and ended up waiting 20+ mins.
