Nature Center at Cheesequake State Park — Attraction in Old Bridge Township

Very nice Nature center at the mid of jungle (forest). Animal skins are preserved as if they are real. Staff is very friendly. Center tells brief history of this park and various species found here. It also has collection of some historical things found here. About the park - It has 4-5 different trails. Green trail is the longest with 3-4 miles of total distance. Other trails like yellow trail is less than 2 miles. It has a lake , artificial beach ⛱️ 🏖️. Good for kids play area, rest and sun bath. Lot of grass land scapes for playing and resting. Picnic table and grills are available in some areas. Kids play area and electric charging is also available. In summer they charge $10 per car for NJ residents and $20 for Non- NJ. Beautiful park, a shame that the nature center will be gone soon due to administration cuts..a great service Jim Fazak gave to the public will with his expert knowledge of the park and all its creatures. Sad that no one truly care about our national...
