Anthony Munoz Community Center — Attraction in Ontario

Today was so disappointing at Anthony Munoz com. center. It's May 31st, 2025- the first weekend that the pool is open. The catalog states recreational swimming on Sat & Sun begins from 12-3p however when we arrived shortly before 12p (when it was supposed to begin) to get in line, without notice, they were turning families with children away due to a badly scheduled staff meeting. They went on to tell people inconsiderately that they can return at 3 to swim once again, like it's so easy to change our schedules to their convenience.No explanation for inconsistency and vague and dismissive excuse for not opening the pool. This year, they have a new manager Tracy who is clearly under qualified to be pool manager. She has a passive aggressive attitude allows the team to make up new rules under her approval that haven't been in place before, and we've been going here for years. They now do not allow ANY toys for children nor do they provide paddle boards or rings for children to enjoy. You as a parent have to go in with child or they will make you sit out with the smallest while your other kids swim. They have plenty of time to plan out seasonal events, there is no excuse to not update social medias to let people know that the hours changed. They are very inefficient this year and are very unprepared much like pool manager and guards under her supervision. Today, May 31st 2025. I usually don't have a problem here with anything. But this summer season has gone wrong for so many reasons. 1st there's no more rings for the kids to play in the pool. Which sucks because all kids love the rings and it's recreational swimming not boring swimming. Like wth. 2nd the new pool manager acts like she's being polite but is actually very passive aggressive I think her name was LAZY or Tracy same difference and the final thing that has me upset is that on the website and on the Ontario paper it says that recreational swimming starts at 12 to 3 on Saturday. Got there at 1150 and they said staff had meeting at blah blah blah and changed the time to 3 to 5 or something. They did not put it on their website or the IG page nor Facebook..like what is going on??. That's a big inconvenience. Another thing the rules are up on the pool deck. The Center itself is newly renovated with. Modern look. The Mountain view from the room is amazing. Their Staff is polite and helpful. Always striving to get the community input on all they have to offer.

I'm a regular here for a lot of their activities, and have not had any bad experiences.
