Handgun selection is pretty solid. Even have higher end handguns. I'd say they are about evenly priced with everyone else. Called today to see if they had a specific handgun which they did and asked if they did price matching (which I was just curious) was told they couldnt match that price which was totally understandable. Arrived at the store to check out the handgun as soon as the young lady handed me the firearm she said "we actually had a guy call and try to negotiate the price on it earlier" I responded yeah that was me and I wasnt trying to negotiate I was just seeing if you guys did price match. She stated she didnt mean to call me out like that. I intended to buy that gun even for almost 400 or 500 dollars more than where I was going to buy it just to support a small local business. The point is customer service could be better as well as the long gun selection. This review isnt to slam anyone but to help improve the business. I would still do business with this store anyday. Took the Handgun and Self Defense 101 class with Todd Sandt yesterday at Firing Pin. Class material was thorough and very helpful. Todd is very knowledgeable and has many years of experience in different fields that make him a wealth of information as well as advice and tips. The class was engaging and fun, the simulation was helpful and thorough as well. The portion of the class on the range was a great chance to really put it all together and “test out” what we learned. Would recommend this class to all new gun owners and anyone looking to purchase a firearm. Looking forward to more classes with Todd.

As far as the store itself, I stopped by Firing Pin last week just to take a look at several different firearms and put my hands on a few, the staff was super attentive and nice. Went back a few days later and purchased a Glock 19X, again staff was helpful and friendly. Overall great experience. Will be back will all future...

I HIGHLY recommend Todd Sandt's Handgun training course. He brings a great deal of expertise. He gives you the legal information you need about owning a firearm, carry permits, and other pertinent information. But, he also uses simulation to help you improve your aim, understand real life situations, and creating a plan in the event you need your handgun to defend yourself. After your class session, you go to the range and shoot live. I had been to the FP range several times with a firearm, that I purchased last year, but was malfunctioning. He helped me understand why it was malfunctioning and what I needed to do to correct it. It improved my aim, my understanding of the firearm, and how to better be prepared in the unfortunate event, I needed to use it to defend myself.
