I gave it 2 stars because I have been here before and had pleasant experience all the way around. HOWEVER, my recent time there was something out of a horror movie. Food was amazing, but the server Kimberly was terrible.
First, she took our orders and would not let us get a word in as far as what WE wanted to order. She kept pushing us into ordering other meals (the most expensive ones) and even tried to push my mother into ordering a alcoholic drink when she wanted a nonalcoholic banana freeze.
She then brought my daughter the wrong drink, my daughter didn't complain but the waitress brought what she originally ordered. Then when my daughter ran out of her drink, she grabbed the extra drink we had on the table that my mother ended up keeping and was already drinking out of, and put it infront of my daughter and said, "Here drink this!" We were speechless.
My oldest daughter who is a vegetarian ordered a bean and cheese nachos and said it clearly and I heard the server repeat it, however what she brought back was beef and cheese nachos. The beef is grinded up so much (to save $) and mixed with beans that no one would have been able to tell it was meat. My vegetarian daughter ate it and had no idea it was meat. She is 15 OR WAA HER BIRTHDAY ON TOP OF EVERYTHING, and here she is mortified and upset that she ate meat after being a vegetarian for a year. I tried to let it go so that I wouldn't freak her out more than she already was, however as a mother I got upset.
I never said anything rude to the waitress, but I got frustrated when I saw our bill. She charged us for the extra drink she brought AND the alcoholic beverage my mother never ordered! I went to management and They took my daughter's meal off and the alcoholic drink off which was fine. Kimberly tried arguing and completely changed her story when she saw i went to the manager. I argued back but respectfully. To top it all off, she left another customers credit card on our table and walked off!
I am a customer service supervisor and I was completely mortified by the lack of compassion and concern the manager and waitress had. I understand being a waitress trying to sell customers the best things on your menus, but she was beyond pushy and it got really irritating.I will...
Read moreMy first visit at new location, experience was aweful. After the waitress got our drinks I had to ask another Waitress about 15 minutes later if we could possibly order. They were not as busy as I have seen before, we were there at 11:30. Per our request we were put at a table that was in the room next to the bar. The waitress finally came over we told her three separate tickets (There was a little confusion because one of the people I was with wanted to pay for everybody’s and we told the waitress no to do three separate tickets). One person ordered the pico time, another person ordered pico time and large cheese dip , I’m not sure where the third person ordered. The other two ladies got their food she brought out the large cheese dip after about five minutes I got up and asked a waitress if she could please find out where my food was at. She went and got the waitress. the waitress came over she was talking very loudly and said that we didn’t order but one pico time and I told her there are three people here we ordered two of the pico-time.she wanted to argue with me about it, I told her never mind just to get my food. she then proceeded to put her hand up close to my face. She did several times come and check on us, but talked very loudly maybe that is the way that she talk but one time she came in behind me and started talking and it startled me she was so loud. We asked for our checks and two to go boxes she brought one Check and a gentleman came by asked about the food and I asked him if he could separate the tickets, she come walking up and said well I guess I’ve screwed up yawls lunch today. If they had been busy I could’ve understood the confusion, but somebody needs to retrain her and get her to tone her voice down. We were there on Wednesday 25th of this week at 11:30, not sure...
Read moreThis was usually our go to place near tiger town because the service is fast and the food is delicious. But the last time we went was simply awful to the extent that I am not sure we'd go again. The "new waitress" who was clearly disabled, (which is great, because we were happy to see a business being inclusive!) Didn't even know what a rum and coke was and my husband had to repeat himself multiple times. Then I guess she had to ask the bartender and he had to come verify what he ordered. Then we ordered our food and she clearly didn't have any clue what we we were saying. So we had to point to the items on the menu. After that she went to take orders at other tables and practically ghosted us. Iws wanting to order a beer and a shot so we asked the waiter who I guess was training her and he said she'd let her know. 30 minutes later (and no food still) the training waiter notices I still have no drink. So the manager gets involved and goes to the wrong table first. Then to us. I don't like doing that so we say it's nothing and fine. We get our food and are eating and when she comes up to us to check in proceeds to say that she would have remembered if I ordered a drink. -_-. I say yah it's fine whatever, can we have our check please, she brings the check, I give her my card, she runs it and when she comes back STANDS OVER ME THE ENTIRE TIME IM SIGNING THE TICKET. So she got a tip only based on the fact she made it EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE to even be there at this point. Honestly couldn't have gotten out of there fast enough. Between the waitresses inability to do her job cohesively and comprehensively, the attitude (not to mention the eye rolling), disregard to customer service and then the completely unprofessional way she hovered over me while checking out. Just wow. Do better...
