Alum Creek Lake Visitor Center — Attraction in Orange Township

There isn't much to see here. I went inside and the worker just kept working on their computer without greeting me which is fine. The inside really doesn't have much to see and a lot of what they do have is geared towards kids. The building itself has nice architectural features, but the real highlight is right behind the building they have a lot of bird feeders and there's a ton of interesting looking birds. We stopped by the Alum Creek Lake Visitors Center to pick up our America the Beautiful Pass. The center is managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers. The staff was extremely helpful informative and friendly. The building and grounds were well kept and they offer a lot of information regarding the State park and lake. I went to to get a National Park pass. They were very helpful. They also gave me booklets on spring wild flowers of Ohio Field guide and dragonflies and damselflies of Ohio guide.
