North Orange Park — Attraction in Orange Township

The pool in general is ok. For smaller kids. There are no lanes for just swimming. The worst part is the way lifeguards treat visitors. Really disgraceful. Young girls lifeguards are really mean and behave unprofessional. We came as a guest and were not aware of all the rules.(like they told my son he was allowed the have goggles !!!!) and I mean they could that nicely, but instead this lifeguard (I believe her name was Avelin or something) started to yell and talk really mean. I talked to the manager. He tried to explain that she was just a teenager. ??? Really? She was also rude to me, when she saw me JUST SWINGING! At the pool! Well anyway. This park is a total gem tucked in a neighborhood! 🌳 It’s got everything—playgrounds with tons of slides on soft rubberized ground, a waterpark (entry fee required), soccer fields, basketball courts, and a covered picnic area. ⚽🏀 The paved walking paths and gravel trail through the woods are perfect for a stroll, and the ponds add a serene touch. 🏞️ Plenty of parking and clean restrooms make it super convenient. 🚻 Just watch out for static shocks in the grass near the basketball court—felt like fire ant bites! ⚡️ Still, an awesome spot for family fun or a chill walk. Extremely bad staff at the aquatic center. Be prepared to know if pool is usable before you hand over the money because once you hand it to them there is no receipt given and no way to get money back even if you decide to change your mind the next second. In my experience they took money and then told me pool is closed, when asked to return he shrugged at me and said no and asked to wait for 15mins. After waiting for 90 mins and weather was only getting worse I had tough time explaining but I lost the money anyways!!! Will...
