My son and I have been training here for the last 7 months. Kids Class: -Instructors promote a positive, safe, and fun environment. -My son has made a few friends and is having fun in every class. -The instructors do an outstanding job with teaching the kids jiu-jitsu. -I’ve seen my son’s skill improve over time.

Adults Class: The instructors are very detailed and take the time to answer questions from the students. -Nobody pressures you, learn at your own pace. -There’s a good mix of self-defense jiu-jitsu and discussion of the sport side if you want to compete. -The classes taught here challenge me physically and mentally. My son started with Team Chitwood in July 2012. The Chitwood brothers resumes are very impressive but more importantly their interaction with their students and their teaching methods are outstanding. My son had started taking a martial arts class at another facility a couple of years earlier and was bored with it. He spent a lot of time just imitating the moves of his instructors and had virtually no practical application of the skills he was learning.
