Please Beware!!!(I only gave one star bc it wouldn’t let you post) They deserves zero Stars!! )
Before you decide to put your love one in this facility please think twice.. unfortunately my family experienced a nightmare that we will live with forever. The outside of this place is nice White and entrance is a cover up of the horrible hospitality and care given to the residents there. First and foremost the Nursing Director there has no compassion for elderly people, she’s rude and will constantly remind you that your love one is Old and if they have dementia she will bluntly say that , to use as an excuse of concerns you may have , whether it’s the horrible food or lack of care! Be very mindful that this Facility will not tell you until they swindle you in with lies of how your love one will be treated and cared for, that THEY WILL ONLY GIVE YOUR LOVE ONE A SHOWER ONCE A WEEK!! They don’t y’all Take them for walks and they will only see daylight if it parks threw the window In the dayroom. Now if someone wears Diapers how should showering once a week FEASIBLE?!?! This NURSING HOME is just in it for the money! Not the well being of Seniors....not to mention my grandmother had no teeth and they never put her dentures in and was given her solid food! Food that some dogs wouldn’t eat.. they don’t have a courtyard or take the residents out for air or excercise .. How was she suppose to chew solid food... I’ll wait!?!? So she lost a msssive amount of weight resulting in becoming malnutrition... the family was never notified which lead to other complications, pneumonia, UTI from leaving diapers on way too long and low pressure from being dehydrated. They send the residents in ambulances alone with no accompany of staff. Don’t expect them to check on your love one. After a couple days of her being in the hospital my family received a letter because they didn’t get paid because she was in the hospital so the letter stated that her bed needed to be occupied and they wanted to give up her bed ... This is A Business ... All about the money from these insurance companies/government or federal funding, not the Caring and well being of anyone that requires Nursing Home Care! Don’t Regret placing someone you love in this facility and make the same mistake we did! Because you will have to live with it forever a...
Read moreIf could rate this place zero stars, I would do so. The level of inconsideration and unprofessionalism from the facility’s administration is diabolical to say the least. My grandmother (90 years of age) was a resident here for a little under 2 weeks, and while my experiencing a medical emergency and being rushed to the hospital the director of admissions, Ms. Lisa Robinson followed my family outside to the ambulance to state to us that my family will need to find an alternative facility for my grandmother to return to because they were not willing accept her back into to their facility due to our “family’s dynamic”. I found this to be rude, inconsiderate and EXTREMELY unprofessional. There is a time and a place for everything and that was not it! No matter what someone's personal "opinion" is of any family, all staff should treat all families with dignity and respect! Sadly, Lisa's behavior reflected the opposite. I would also like to mention the lack of medical knowledge from the nursing staff. (Unable to accurately perform vital checks) or provide my family with detailed answers to our concerns. As well as the outdated medical equipment (hoyer lift) that got stuck while my grandmother was being lifted in it. Last but not least, there is a severe lack of cleanliness and roach infestation at the facility which is completely unacceptable for any business, but especially a medical facility. Every family’s goal when searching for medical facilities for their loved ones is to have them in not only a CLEAN/SANITARY facility/environment but also a facility that both practices and implements the core values of healthcare: Compassion, Respect for Persons/Family, Commitment to Integrity and Ethical Practice, Commitment to Excellence, and providing extraordinary care! The White House is...
Read moreThis is the worst nursing home in the world. They have to many people in one room. The head nurse is rude. My great grandmother was sent to the hospital no one contacted her family to see if she was ok. They contacted us and said she was sent to the hospital because her perssure was high this was false. She had a urine infection because they were not changing her pamper. She was also malnutrition because they were not feeding her. The head nurse hung up on us and was very rude her response was “do you realize your grandmother is 97 years old”. So because my grandmother is 97 years old that means leave her with the same pamper on for days and don’t feed her. And it’s ok because she’s 97. They had my grandmother laying on a pillow that I wouldn’t even let my dog sleep on. They sit the residents in a day room all day while they sit on their cell phones. This was a terrible decision that me and my family made and we will have to live with regret for the rest of our lives. We thought we were making the right decision because this is what my grandmother wanted. She wanted to be in a home because she didn’t want to be a burden on anyone. She was very independent. If I knew what I know now myself and my family would not have sent her to this facility. My grandmother is currently in hospice because her body was to week to fight off the infection. They fail my grandmother. We send our love ones thinking they will treat them with love and compassion because this is the last place they go before they are called home but I guess not. The staff is disgruntled, angry, and real...
