L’Hirondelle Restaurant — Restaurant in Orange

I started coming to this restaurant 3 weeks ago. The owner was so hospitalable. He gave me some taste of his food while waiting for my order. Excellent! The second time I came was Saturday before last....and the food was excellent again. I came yesterday between 630- 7pm. While waiting for my food, I told the young lady not to have their tip jar outside.... Could cause theft. Paid for my food went home. Opening to share food about 9or so, I realized the food was cooked like almost recooked. Hard, looked hard very hard to chew... The akra too. The rice and beans with plantains was great no problem. I called left a message last night. Nobody called back as of yet. Well I will not purchase again from them. I feel they could care less. One customer is nothing. Plus I left a tip. This establishment is IMPRESSIVE. Period. They were able to fulfill a catering order I requested and not only was the food presentation top notch but the food was extremely flavorful and some of the best Haitian food I have ever had outside of my own home. The food and the restaurant is impeccable. The lanbi was koupe dwet, the akra was to die for, the banane peze and pikliz was off the hook, and the diri dyon dyon and diri kole were mouth watering. This place is so damn good! The other day I got, L’Hirondelle Restaurant, for lunch. I got their, Stewed Turkey, w/ White Rice & Sos Pwa, and Pikliz. It was amazing!
