This dilapidated old pool could definitely use a renovation, as it's falling apart and growing what looks to be black mold on the broken concrete inside the pool along the drains. Also, the fact that you have to walk through the showers past a bunch of naked old guys in order to get to the pool.
The staff is typically great, but sometimes you get the cranky lady who snaps at you in order to correct your swimming pattern, even though all you were doing was swimming around the old people doggie-paddling in the fast lane..

Read moreAlthough I cannot speak to the swimming pool, I absolutely love the park! There is a creek running through it, the local community has left a ton of buckets and shovels for general use. There are a few picnic tables and places to sit, also a walking path that goes back from the play structure connecting to another part of the neighborhood. As a place to take kids for an hour or so, I can recommend it as fun and engaging to multiple ages. You must however keep a sharp eye on small children because a few spots get quite deep in the rainy season and there is a steep slope to the water...
Read moreIt's a great pool, but the hours are great for open swim. They have ice cream treats for sale, but you have to end you swim early to get to it as they stop serving promptly at 7pm. They also won't let me into the locker rooms with my child to get changed, as it takes some time with a child, to get to my small window of open swim. HS kids wouldn't understand I guess. They claim they have a slide, but it's about 4 feet long FYI. Conestoga is worth the price and drive for your children. Okay for laps and casual pool...
